So this week was a good week it was a little bit slower but because both of the sisters in our Ward are being transferred and we aren't getting anyone in return. We had alot of things we had to do with that. We had to meet their investigators and recent converts and alot of other stuff to help them clean out there apartment! On Wednesday me and my comp were the only ones at service because everybody else had to go pick up a new comp and the lady in charge bought a 3ft sub for everyone and there were just two of us so that was fun there was lots of sub for us! but it was a good thing it was a slow day there because we were very shorthanded!
Wednesday night we went to Chik-fil-a to meet the new missionaries in the district and they are both brand new so my comp just spoke Portuguese to them and I pretend like I had no idea what he was saying and just ignored it and they believed him and thought he knew no English and then he went to the bathroom and when he came out he just started to speak in English. I think they were a little confused, but they are cool! It was a fun night that night!
On Thursday we had an appt with one of the sister's investigators that we picked up and she lives 30 mins away and our WML took us and then she ended up being sick and so it was basically a hour drive total just to have lunch with our wml so that was little frustrating but it is all good! On Friday we had zone service and we were helping set up for this free clothing thing going on at the stake center and that was fun my first comp Elder Boekweg is now a Zone Leader in our zone so that was cool to see him there! Then we planned until dinner that night which was super fun. I like planning, but it can get boring man!
Saturday we did a super deep clean of our apartment we filled a 35 gallon bag full of trash and just cleaned house. It was really nice because now the apartment is super clean the cleanest in 6 months since I have been here so that is good!
On thursday in my studies I was reading as talk called the 4th missionary and it is a super good talk it says in the talk that your life's greatest work is you and list some questions about things you would want in your life and so I wrote up a list of characteristics and then at the library that day I typed them up and made a little poster that I can look at and read everyday! I took a pic and will send it, but I look at it each morning before studies and evaluate how I can achieve those things better! How I can become a better person and missionary everyday with every action I take!
We had Ward Conference on Sunday and there were alot of good talks given and I sang in the Ward Choir> I never even practiced with them, but I did it and that was fun. They just sang a hymn so it wasn't too bad, but I had never heard the hymn before so the 1st line I had no idea what I was doing. I got the hang of it!
Well that is all this week it was a great week. I love being out here and it is crazy it has already been 6 months it is starting to fly by too fast already. Hopefully it doesn't go by too fast! I love it here.
till next week

Slow and sickly weekend!
So this week was pretty slow Monday was super fun with zone pday. Then Tuesday was super slow we did alot of tracting and trying to see people but none wanted to talk. On Wednesday we did service which was super fun as always! and then we had exchanges with the elders in Anoka and I was with Elder Morgan who came out with me and we have both been here for our whole time out and it might of been our last exchange together so that was sad we get along pretty well and we have been together our whole missions! We had a pretty slow exchange though, but we saw a cool looking moon. I tried to take a picture, but it didn't work out very well I willl still send it home, but it is a sucky picture.
On Thursday we had Zone Conference and it was super good. I learned alot of things I need to work on and good ways to help the Ward get more involved in missionary work so that is good it was a good day! We got the Life of Christ Bible videos dvd that we can show people now and it is amazing they are super powerful videos I love using them so much it is great!
On Friday we went to our WML's house and he was tasked with digitizing the area book and he still hadn't done it yet so he is having me do it and it is going to take forever. Man he has me do alot of stuff I don't know why, but i seem to be tasked with alot when it comes to missionary work in the ward. Making sheets and reporting on stuff I think I can handle it but I only have max two hours on the computer each week to do the area book and it is alot of info so we will see where that goes.
So Saturday I wake up work out and get in the shower and I get out and walk into the room and my comp is asleep on the bed with the lights off and I was like what is going on, but he got up and showered and after he said I am not feeling well I am going to sleep. So he did for an hour then his stomach pain got worse and he couldn't keep anything down water food nothing. If he put it in his body it would come out one end or the other 10 mins later. The WML came over and we gave him a blessing, but it kept getting worse. At night it got worse and I exchanged with an Anoka elder so I could be at our coordination meeting with the WML and told the elder who was with him if he wasn't feeling any better by 8 to call the medical guy for the mission and president. So he did and we get out of our meeting and my comp is in the ER because it was so bad we got there at like 9:30 and he was already back and we waited and then the District Leader said he would stay with my comp. I wanted to stay but he saidd he should so he did. I went with the other elder and bought some lysol and went and soaked our apartment with it. Then went to the anoka elders house to sleep we got in at like 11 and then at 12 I hear the phone vibrating and it is my comp and the other elder and they are out of the ER, but don't have keys to our apartment so they drive to where I was and we exchanged back then and we went home got home at about 1 and fell asleep at 2 and I slept in till 9 because I was allowed to and my comp slept in till 10:15 and then stayed home from church while I exchanged to go to church then we stayed in all day until 6 and went to two appts and then came back early so he could rest more it was a crazy weekend. I didn't think i would be in the ER at 10 at night on my mission but it happened! I am just glad it is pday so i can relax for a little bit it was a good week well til next week.

So it was a Pretty Good Week!
This week was a good week on Monday we went into the cites and went to this free zoo and conservatory and that was super fun I got a ton of awesome pictures from that to send home it was a super fun day! That night we set up a lot more stuff with the Lattu family who got baptized on Saturday! So the dad of the family wanted this guy who used to be in the ward who moved to Utah to baptize him and he called him and the guy said he would fly out just for the baptism. It was super amazing to see that he flew all the way out here just to baptize a friend of his it was a super awesome thing to witness!
Wednesday we had new missionary training in Bloomington and that was good. I got lots out of it and I tried to pick up my new bike but the dang box would not fit in our car i tried so hard to just shove it in the trunk but to no avail. I have to wait till president can bring it down to me!
On Thursday we went on exchanges with the Zone Leaders and I left the area and we taught this super cool Polynesian family and then after we ate dinner we went to this African's house and he was eating and he asked us if we would like some and we said just a little bit and he gave us each a huge plate full and wholly crap it was spicy I was going to die and all we had was water to go with it so that didn't help. Africans have taste buds of steel it is amazing!
Friday was good we got all the last minute things done for the baptism and did a bunch of planning it was a pretty ordinary day, but that night I gave a blessing to one of the kids who is getting baptized on Saturday because his shoulder was in pain. The next day he had healed. It was amazing and a super big testimony builder.
On Saturday we had the baptism and it was great. I got to baptize one of the kids and my old comp was able to make it for the baptism so that was awesome as well. It was just a super good spiritual environment! It was so amazing. On Sunday we made the mistake of tracting during the Super Bowl. I won't do that again. There weren't many people willing to talk needless to say!
Today we had Zone pday and we got to watch the Super Bowl and we played basketball it was a blast. It is kind of funny I have never watched a Super Bowl in my life and the first one I watch ends up being on my Mission who would of thought! This week was fantastic and I learned a lot and had some pretty amazing personal spiritual experiences during my personal study. If you study with a purpose it is amazing what it can do for you! I love it out here. I love being a missionary!
till next week

Pretty Freaking Amazing Week
So this week was amazing! It started off super good on Monday we had a good pday then Tuesday we went to see the investigator who came to president's fireside on Sunday with us and he hadn't smoked in two days. He is going to get baptized this Saturday with his two boys it is an amazing change. He has been investigating for 1 and half years! So it is a big change but is is great! because I have grown to love that family since I have been here and they are awesome. I might be baptizing one of his boys we will see what happens but that was amazing!
Wednesday and Thursday were just normal days we were doing a lot of scrambling around to get jumpsuits and stuff ready for the baptism that was on Saturday of last week and that took up a lot of our time but it was worth it. On Friday our investigator who is getting baptized on the 31st still hadn't smoked so we set up the interview for the next day! It was super exciting!
Friday we also had zone service at this place called "Feed my starving children" and it was super fun we packaged food for hungry kids! Then we went to lunch at this place called Mandarin and it was good. For some reason now I can just eat anything and everything that is put in front of me so that is good. I don't really have a dislike for chicken any more it is kind of just neutral.
So Saturday was good we had to get to the church at 4 to fill the font for the baptism that night and then at 6:15 the Lattu family had their baptismal interviews and they all passed so that was super exciting and the baptism service that night was super spiritual and it was just amazing his non member grandma and mom were there so that was great!
On Sunday Brother Lattu came to church with his two kids and that was great. He had to have a second interview because of an issue he had in the past but he passed that one so he is good to go for Saturday it is just all so amazing to see how his life has just suddenly changed and he is just super happy now! Then he called this guy who used to be in our ward who moved away. He was very instrumental in his early teaching and he asked him to baptize him and the guy said he will fly down from Utah to do it it was super cool because he really wanted him to be there to do it. It is just all so amazing to see! I just love it! and today we are in the cites going to Como Zoo in St Paul it is a free zoo so that is great! Apparently there are some pretty sweet animals there so that is going to be super awesome I will take lots of pictures and we made these embark shirts with the logo on them I will send a pic of them! this week was am amazing week. I just love it out here
well till next week
