Hardwork pays off and winter has arrived.

So this past week has been a good week! on Monday we had our zone p-day and everyone came to our building and we played volleyball and basketball. We had all kinds of board games for people to play. It was just a chill kind of day but it was fun! On Tuesday we had MLC up in Bloomington and it was all about what the culture on the mission is and how we can improve that. Also how we can make our weekly planning and our companionship study better it was a really good meeting. I learned alot and found things that I need to be better at so that was good. Afterwards we stayed in Bloomington and exchanged with the APs and I went with Elder Boekweg and that was super fun as it always is. When we can be back together it is fun and it was good. That night we were by the mission office and the mission home is right across from it and we saw President Forbes running on his treadmill with a polo and sweatpants on. It was funny. Elder Boekweg tried to get a video and President almost saw him, but it was a fun night!

The next day we had our District Meeting. We set a date with our investigator David Packer for the 30 of January so that was super awesome! He is solid we went over the baptismal interview questions and he was solid on all of them so that was awesome. I am super excited for him. This area is really picking up we have 2 progressing investigators with him and our other one whose name is Bernard, who we taught this week on Friday. He said he lost the chapter he was suppose to read so instead he just prayed and then flipped it open and read and he said it really answered some questions he had and he said he knew it was scripture so that is awesome. We had a full week this week. We taught a good amount of lessons.

On Sunday night we went out with a priest in the ward, Neal Anderson, he is a solid kid and we tied to see some people and we found a new investigator while we were with him so that was awesome! It is really awesome how the work is picking up here now it was pretty dead when I got here, but all the hard work is starting to pay off it is awesome to see. I hope I can stay at least one more transfer to see the work continue to progress even more then it is right now. So I hope that happens! I really love this area alot it is a good area and I am happy we are having success now!

It was a really good week, but like the subject say winter finally came most of the week wasn't too bad but then Saturday morning it was below 0 and ya it dropped like 20 degrees from like Friday to Saturday so ya and then on Sunday when we got to church it was -11 so that was cold and the high was 0 so it didn't get much warmer than that, but it is all good I am staying warm so that is good! Anyways it is still going great out her it is crazy to think how I hit only 6 months left soon. Time is flying by so fast, but I am trying to finish hard and fast. When i get home I will be tired and will probably need to rest because I don't plan on slowing down right now. If anything I want to push myself harder and get faster and work harder like it says in 1 Corinthians 9:24,

24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

I am running to obtain. I will do my best to bring as many people to Christ while I am in Minnesota and then it won't stop there because that is not what it is about. I will strive to bring people to Christ all my days no matter where I am at even when I am in Idaho or Utah where everybody is Mormon, but I love the Lord and I love being a missionary! I hope everyone has a great week.

Good Busy Week!

This week was  a good week. We did a lot  stuff that we had to get done! So Monday wasn't p-day so we did emailing and shopping and stuff and then we did some other stuff. It started snowing pretty good. It stated at like one and didn't stop all night long so we got like a foot of snow. It was good. Driving around that night was sketchy at times, but we made it everywhere we need to go so that was good.

Then Tuesday morning our cars got grounded so we got a ride with a member and we went around and we shoveled people's drive ways so that was a good use of time and then we got back and our cars were ungrounded so that was good! That night we went and we stayed the night with  some Elders and then the next day we blitzed their area and that was good and we got back to our area the next morning and not a ton of stuff happened until Friday. It was p-day in the morning. We went to our old WML's house with the sisters and played games and and ate lunch we played "Ticket to Ride" so that was a blast even though I got last place but it is all good! it was fun. Then we drove to an area in the zone, New Prague, and played basketball and did stuff with their district and then we had to interview with some elders because we had to talk to them about some stuff. It went well. Hopefully all will turn out good!

Then Saturday was good we had a good lesson with our most progressing investigator, David Packer. On Sunday David Packer came to church with his friend so that was awesome. They loved it and we should be able to start teaching his friend so that was good! Sorry it isn't a good email this week we are rushed, but this week I have been pondering about things related to new year resolutions and read Genesis 19:17.

17 ¶And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

What I like about this scripture is the simple words look not behind thee because it is just a good thing to do at this time of the year because when we set goals to achieve, but sometimes we look back and that is why we dont achieve them because we think our past will hold us back, but our past will not hold us back we don't need to worry about what we have done in the past, but it is all about our goals and what we want to become and as we involve the Lord with our goals he will help us achieve our goals and help us to become the best we need to be so I hope we can all look forward and become better at this new year. Well I have to get going so I hope you all have a good week.
