Pretty good week with a Powerful Conference!

This past week was a pretty good week. Monday was a good day then on Tuesday we had a mission conference and Elder Don Clark from the Seventy was there and it was for training for the iPads. We will be getting. It was a great conference he is a great speaker. He gave a great training on the sacrament and then they talked alot about why the church is doing iPads they said it is not just to help the work progress, but to also help us be more prepared for the world we will be in when we go home so that was really cool to think about it. At the end he opened it up for any questions and he gave great advise on how to have a strong family and marriage when we are done so that was cool. It was just a really good conference. We don't have our iPads yet but we should be getting them sometime soon probably next week it is exciting!

Wednesday of this week was good we did alot of finding and we walked alot because it is the end of the month so we were low on miles, but it was good for us. That evening we found a new investigator so that was great it was someone we had taught before. We reconnected with him so that was great! Then the rest of that evening was tracting and more finding which is OK because we have to do it in order to find people to teach in this area so we are trying to get it done!

On Thursday I had some District Leader calls in the mooring then we had an appt with one of our investigators at 11:00 and we taught him the Plan of Salvation and it went good. He said it made more sense than what he had been taught before so that was great. Then he told us he travels like all summer with his family and is like never home so that is no good but we will keep in contact and pick him back up when he gets back! We see a less active, brother cook, every Thursday and he is an older guy, but he makes stuff out of wood like all day long. He makes gumball machines out of wood and tables and all kinds of stuff he is cool. He also made this sweet bed it is super cool looking. It has a huge compartment built for a TV and all kinds of stuff it is cool. He is way talented! Then we had an appt with one of our investigators who has been being taught for 2 years on and off and his parents don't know he has been taking the lesson so it is a touchy situation, but he told us he is changing his work schedule so that he can come to church so that is great that will really help his progression!

Friday was a good day we were tracking and a lady told us to come back on Saturday at 10:00 so we will hear about her later, but then we saw a guy named Chuck in our Ward who is handicapped and we just read the Book of Mormon to him every week and it is nice I love doing it! Then that night I had to do down to the other part of my district to take care of some stuff and it is 30 miles away one way so it took the rest of the night and the rest of our miles, but it is all good!

On Saturday morning we went and helped someone move for a little bit then we went to our appt at 10:00 with the lady we tracted into on Friday afternoon and it went great we taught her and her husband and we got to know them really well it was a great lesson so we have two more new investigators that was great! Then we mowed someones lawn for them on Saturday so that was good then we did alot of finding the rest of the night!

Sunday was a good day even though none of our investigators made it to Church, but it was what they call Seminary Sunday so like 6 or 7 of the seminary kids gave short talks on a scripture mastery and they did a musical number it was really cool! After church we went to teach one of our investigators and he was in the shower so we started to teacher a girl who was there then too. We were talking to her and we started talking about the Atonement and she started to cry when I told her no matter how far we go away we can always come back no matter what. Then she walked out and our investigator walked in and we talked to him. He has been reading the Book of Mormon everyday. He is in Alma 12 and we started him in Mosiah 2 so that is awesome. He says he loves the book. Then the girl who walked out came back in and sat in and we taught her about the restoration and that was good and she committed to read and pray about the Book or Mormon so that was great. We got another new investigator which made 4 for this week which is awesome! That hasn't happened on my mission for a while so it is awesome! Then we had dinner at some members and he is a cook and made this really good chicken in a roll with cheese thing I don't know what it was, but it was really good then we took some dinner to a less active in the Ward and we went to a girl in the Ward's farewell party she is going to Tokyo Japan so that is cool. It was a good time then we did alot of stop bys to try and see people and it was a good day and a great week. I hope that this week can be even better. Oh ya we taught seminary this morning and that was fun it was weird being back in seminary. I haven't woken up at 5 for seminary in a year so that was good! I hope all is well with everybody that is all this week till next week
